Designing for Booklets
It is important to bear in mind that the booklet printing process does have one limitation—the number of pages you can choose. The number of pages in a booklet will always need to be divisible by four. If you imagine holding a booklet in your hands and turning the pages of a four-page book, you will see why this has to be.
Eight pages is usually the minimum booklet size (anything smaller is technically a leaflet). You don't have to have a specific set of cover pages—they can be made of the same material and be indistinguishable from the rest of your booklet. This is sometimes called “self-cover” booklet printing.
